Alma’s hope is that when she hosts a guest visit, they have an incredible experience, and create memories that stay with them for a long time, maybe even a lifetime.
That’s why she chose to start Napa In Your Valley.
Meet Alma
After more than 13 years’ experience working the Los Angeles food scene, Alma decided to marry two of her passions – food & wine. After two years of intensive study, she graduated from the prestigious North American Sommelier Association as a certified Silver Pin Sommelier in 2017. The last five years Alma has worked the Napa wine scene, most of which was spent as the Estate Director for Krupp Brothers Winery, the high-end boutique winery born from one of Napa’s most iconic vineyards, Stagecoach. Her passion is to delight her customers with unique and exceptional food and wine tasting experiences.
I love to experiment with food and wine to find the perfect compliments. From high end restaurants to pizza night in the kitchen with the family, I am continuously searching for those delicious pairings.
About Her Business
While in Napa, Alma collaborated with some of the regions’ top Chefs to create food pairing across a wide spectrum of wine varietals. Her command of the chemistry behind the way wine and food compliment, catapulted a normal wine tasting and into a oenophile culinary experience.
Over the years, Alma has been blessed to have hosted hundreds of tasting events with thousands of wonderful guests, during which a common theme seemed to echo from so many of her guests – how they wished some other friend or loved one could have been there for the experience. That common expression set Alma on the next stage of her career adventure, founding “Napa in Your Valley”.
Everyone knows it’s not easy to coordinate trips to Napa, especially large groups, or with travel challenged individuals in these post pandemic days. So “Napa in Your Valley” was born to bring these same wonderful food and wine experiences to her guest’s home towns, where they could more easily gather friends and loved one in the comfort of their home, a favorite restaurant, country club, or yacht club.
